Annesley Old Church

What an awesome place to have a wander around. Gothic ruins, old tombs & graves and beautiful countryside views. It’s on a small scale but there’s lots to see and it feels steeped in history. I’ve been back a few times. The church ruins are next to the Old Hall site which is not accessible & looks like it’s currently being renovated. There isn’t a lot of room for parking, and no loo or food facilities, so be prepared. Also there isn’t anywhere to shelter should it rain! Looks like there are a few footpaths for walks around this area to which I’ll probably explore in warmer weather.

Visited here yesterday, was lovely. Really interesting place. I would love to know what they are doing with the abandoned manor abs stables next door as there has been building work happening.

Took our 4 month old Frenchie called Hugo here. Took him off the lead, he loved it. Such beauty here in a small place

Been involved with it most of my life seen it go from a overgrown ruin to open space safe to visit with plenty of history

I like to come here for awesome photo shoots. Very spooky location, apparently haunted too.
