A warm welcome for both English and Portuguese at this bright, modern church. Quite hard to find, hidden behind the flats.

Welcoming people with a younger pastor who genuinely cares about his congregation. What they lack in numbers they make up for in hospitality. It is slightly difficult to find because it is hidden behind a set of apartments, but on a Sunday morning you'll see a banner and/or a few friendly greeters welcoming you to the church.

The church is down an alleyway or through the archway at the flats opposite St Georges Park. There is a lovely warm welcome and family friendly services. The teaching / sermons are challenging and insightful on all levels and most weeks the sermon is recorded and available through the website under resources. There is a small worship team and the words for the songs and hymns are displayed on a large screen. Although the church is upstairs (first floor) the toilets (including disabled) are on the ground floor, and there is a lift to the sanctuary. There are 2 services each week. First, on a Saturday night 6:30 for the Portuguese speaking Christians, which is also attended by some duel speakers who may be able to help translate the main parts if you need them to. On Sunday morning the service (which is entirely in English), starts at 10:45 and lasts normally for an hour and a half. After both services free refreshments are served in the downstairs hall. Be careful where you park, but if you look, there is free parking nearby, just not outside, on the park side. The nearest paid car park is Market Gates, less than 5 minutes walk. Occasionally there are events held here for the community and these are advertised on the Parklife website, as is any other information you may need including contact details.

Very nice friendly and warm church. We had a lovely welcome and felt very at ease. The services are really good and they do a kids church.
