Pretty much the most fantastic church I have ever seen. Apparently the church steeple leans further than the tower of Pisa. Some nice walks in the area as well.

The strangest church I have ever visited, twisted one direction at one end and the opposite at the other end. A nice walk along the footpath to approach the church, from where we parked on the road below in a lay-by. Well worth a visit.

Really Interesting place to visit. Didn't see many information boards. So information about the site is a bit lacking. But other than that it's in a beautiful area with some amazing veiws.

This has got to be the most unusual church we've ever been to. Nothing is straight. Don't leave without looking inside. It's a truly amazing place, very quiet, peaceful and tranquil. Hat's off to the men who build it.

My family came from this area and I still feel a visit is like going home and no visit is complete without some time spent at the church. Subsidence has left the tower leaning dramatically and the East end leaning the other way. It's well worth reading the many gravestones inside the building.

An absolutely fantastic and fascinating hidden away gem of a church. Not the easiest drive down some extremely narrow country lanes , not a great deal of carparking either. Its unique contorted look is due to a land slide which adds to the character of this 12 th century building. So it's listed in two separate ways.

We visited The Church of St Martin by chance after spotting it on a drive to Hay on Wye via Llanthony. The church was begun in the 12th century, although most of the current structure dates from the 13th century. The church has an extreme tilt, the result of a landslide which gives it some character. Its built in a peaceful area and there's some nice walks in the area. A round-headed north window dates to the 12th century, and the nave roof has been dated to the late 13th or early 14th century. St Martin's is a grade 1 listed building and an active parish.
