This place is lovely! Just had a delicious soup, coffee, and scrumptious cake. Lovely relaxing atmosphere, and people are very welcoming here. Homemade cake was just irresistible, crumbly and I savoured every bite. Shame its only open till 2, but worth coming for the quality of the food. Cater for vegetarian, vegan and gluten free. This is a lil gem of a place!

Ordered fish finger sandwich for our 2 yr old. Luckily i stole a bit before
my kid tucked in and found that the fish was raw. Apparently had been microwaved. I was furious because if my kid had eaten this, they wouldn't have even realised what was wrong. Won't be eating there again.

What makes this church different is definitely the people, they are all so welcoming and love sharing their life & space with anyone who is willing.

This history of the space mixed with the improvements has made the church really something special a exceptional mix between old and new ways of church life.

It also during the week services some of the best hot chocolate and coffee in Roath!

Beautiful refurbished church. Nice cafe opened during the week with friendly staff serving good coffee and pastries. A nice place to connect with locals in a great atmosphere. Welcoming and inclusive Sunday celebration too. I would highly recommend to anyone.

I was invited to attend Friday Night Live at Urban Crofters to hear Jazz singer Matt Featherstone and pianist Corben Lee on 2st October 2021... Well, I was blown away.. Far exceeded my expectations. Soulfully sung, original songs with such depth it was moving and Corben's masterful piano playing had me choked up more than once! The venue is a beautiful church with original character, cosy sofa's and happy & welcoming staff. It was my first time there but won't be my last, especially now I know they have performances every Friday! It's a great place to go with friends or by yourself. Thanks for a great evening.

Urban Crofters refers to a lovely group of people connected with the Church in Wales (Anglican) community. Although UC clearly has a Christian ethos, anyone who wants to can meet there and become part of an extended "family". There are elements of tradition in church services, but most is relatively modern and has a strong emphasis on developing relationships with one another and with the local community (often involving food!). The building hosts a number of initiatives including the "Ground Up" café.

I visited recently and it was incredibly welcoming. Beautiful exciting church. Lovely people and a really peaceful atmosphere, especially for the coffee shop during the week.

Such a lovely welcoming place to be.
From the amazing smiles to the beautiful flowers and plants inside and outside the building, it is my favourite place of worshiping :)
