Old St Nidan's Church

Absolutely stunning old church. Open a few times a year as a part of National Open Garden Scheme, and on one Sunday evening in December for a Carol Service. Fabulous.

I walk past the old church most days with my dog. The church is only open on two days of the year. Once for a carol service in mid December and once again in the spring. I have only been inside once and it was very quaint. The tourist board should have dates for when it's open.

Lovely restoration of church. Went to see it on one of the few occasions its opend l remember when it was derelict. Only thing as a local with family berid there didn't like to see gravestones moved and laid flat. And maybe when gardeners are there would be nice to have the churchyard open If only one day a week.
