Beautiful place. Very large church, I'll say cathedral size. Austere interior and as somebody say very calming. There was nobody when we went on a Sunday afternoon. Walk around till you find the door that opens. The information display is really interesting to understand the history behind the building.

A fine church originally a monastery and becoming a centre to house the pilgrims on their way to Bardsey. It's size is noticeable given the relative size of Clynnog Fawr. Much of it is 16th century with some more recent additions and renovations. The interior is relatively unadorned, whitewashed stone wall and stone flooring. There are some ancient oak carved seating which date back to reformation times decorated with carved heads that are thought to be of past clerics associated with this ancient Christian site.

A beautiful and extensive church and graveyard. Be sure to look it up on Wikipedia to get a list of things to see. There are plenty.
