Shame on this council, trash collection has become a legend, for a week now no one shows up to collect and there's trash all over the place, many foxes it's being attracted. I try to call the department for waste management all in vain, it seems they are on holiday, no one gives attention to you either the problem itself. Since the LABOUR'S SOCIALIST PARTY take control it became drastic. NEGLIGENCE AND INCOMPETENCE TOOK OVER THE PLACE.

Horrible experience , seems the phone was answered by this African lady, there was all kinds of different noises from the other side predominantly from her phone I gathered. I only called because when booking for the birth registration appointment, it showed I need to call if I haven’t got the confirmation email which contains important information. When called , this lady was exhibiting consistent urge to end the call without any help and lied to me when I asked her if I don’t need to bring my id , she was saying she already said that to me but clearly she didn’t. Gosh I thought Croydon council was the worst , it’s not, I know life is evolving.

My good friend had been in one of your properties for 18 years with her son but over the last year or so it’s been falling apart around her and nothing has been done about it you left her with no ceiling for seven months she had no where to live you didn’t even offer her temporary housing you left her all through the summer with windows that don’t open still not been done her toilet is broke leaking still not been fixed and she suffers with mental health and it making her worse and you still have not moved her it is an outrage how you treat people

Just fined a 92 year old lady £100 for putting her recycling out one day early because she was going on holiday. She dn't understand the "evening before" rule.

Poor service. Various departments did not take responsibility when issue reported numerous times, passing it off to each other... When they finally called back (environment office), they leave a voicemail (with no contact details) and say they wiill ring again next day and guess what... they didn't.

Horrible experience! Having problem with bedbugs, living with an elderly people and nobody answer the calls! Honestly😡 totally disrespectful

People always speak highly of Wandsworth Council due to their low council tax, however people are better off paying double and getting a decent council!

You don’t ever get an answer on the phone, and when you email it will take days to get a reply. Not even answering half the questions asked in the email or getting a response from a manager when requested.

They will also fine you for anything, even if it’s not your fault like when one of our bin bags was dragged onto the path by a fox, I received a £100 littering fine despite the amount of evidence I sent to prove this wasn’t intentional and was done while I was out the house at work, giving me no chance to move this back off the path.

This council may be cheap but they will throw any fine your way to make up for their low council tax to pay their delinquent office staff, namely “Joy” from the Environmental Department.

Reading some other reviews, this looks like I’m not the only one to have issues with the Environmental Department and at a time when money is tight this is entirely unfair.

When wandsworth council was a Conservative run council everything was great, low council tax and everything was well maintained around my small estate. An elderly neighbour was lucky enough to meet a Fantastic estate Manager, Mr Moses. He had so many improvements done, a new kitchen, wet room even had all the mould and bugs removed. Previous one wanted him to go into care!!. Now under Labour my estate is unkempt. The bins do not get emptied weekly, light bulbs in communal areas have blown and not replaced. Our council tax will go through the roof this year for low quality service.Labour has a bad reputation for running councils. Seems its true.
