I recently photographed a wedding at the Town Hall, and I have to say, the team they have there are INCREDIBLE!

My couple got married in the Westminster Room in June on a very busy Saturday afternoon. Apparently the Town Hall has 5 weddings on at a time, but because their team are so good you don't get that dreaded "conveyor belt" feeling.
OK the stairs out front are constantly full, but a member of staff told me they time everything so each wedding has at least 12 minutes on the step so they can get those all important photos.
Once inside, I discovered the Town Hall has their own team of Ushers, and they work really hard so that you don't get mixed up with another wedding. Once inside, I didn't spot another bride/groom, they managed to keep each wedding that well together.
As a photographer, I tend to work on the principle that the Registrars out rank me, you literally can't get married without one! So before the ceremony I checked with our Registrar where I could stand without getting in her way. She beamed the friendliest smile, and told me she knew how important wedding photos were, she happily said she would jump out the way so I could be front and centre for the bride walking up the aisle and for the first kiss, no hiding behind vases at awkward angles for me!
The ceremony was beautiful. It never felt rushed or "corporate". The Registrar was genuinely happy to be there and be part of my couple's day <3
After the ceremony (yes, I cried during the ceremony), an Usher appeared and hid my couple away, whilst another quickly guided the guests to the cleared steps so I could get them in position for confetti!
The photo is awesome, everyone smiled and cheered during the confetti, and we had plenty of time to get a group photo of all the guests on the steps.

Thank you to the team at the Town Hall for being so amazing and kind to everyone involved in the wedding I captured.

TIP: If you are getting married there, as I said, the steps get really REALLY busy, so I try to stick to a confetti photo, a BIG group photo, and possibly 1 more if you're lucky, but to do the bulk of them at your reception venue. You'll feel less rushed and pressured to have them all done before the next wedding comes out. Instead, you can really enjoy an EPIC confetti moment and a AWESOME GIANT group photo.

Much over due, but this venue deserves all the praise for weddings. They run the process like a well oiled machine, all the while managing to make every party feel unique, welcome and extremely special. From the moment you arrive on the steps of the town hall you are taken care of. As a bride, there was nothing I had to think about except managing to stay upright in my heels! The staff are excellent, polite, and extremely capable. Not to mention the stunning setting. I would thoroughly recommend this venue.

The most calm, relaxed, magical place in London! We chose to have a short quick ceremony at the Town Hall as we couldn't get the registry time we wanted on our actual wedding day (10th September) so we chose to legally get married here, but still consider the 10th our actual day.

It surpassed our expectations, Todd & Liz were so lovely and friendly, even making us laugh, it was the most magical ceremony and I honestly just felt so relaxed throughout it all. The Town Hall is absolutely beautiful also may I add, and super organised! You're not felt rushed at all and we were free to take as many photos/our time as we liked :)

Thanks so much Todd & Liz, you were fabulous!

Fabulous wedding venue. The ushers are incredibly helpful, making sure everything runs smoothly. Our registrar, Naomi, was brilliant. She was very professional, but kind and flexible and made the ceremony feel special and personal. Thank you Naomi

An amazing venue and staff! We got married on the 4th September 2022 (Westminster room) and we could not have chosen a better place. Our registrars Tommy and Veronica were absolutely superb, we recieved plenty of complements from our guest on how beautiful and magical the ceremony was, plus the venue is just stunning. Tommy, you were just amazing with your kind words and great voice, thank you so much :)
From the moment we arrived we were taken care of in a lovely and caring manner, there was no confusion on what we were doing at any time, all was just perfection :)

We were really impressed by how well run the weddings are at Marylebone town hall. Being unable to really visit in advance, it was always a bit of a leap of faith to book.

However, we should never have worried. We were well looked after and professionally coordinated by the ushers and staff, and the registrar team were brilliant and made our day so special.

I can’t speak highly enough about the OMTH. Our registrar (Ellen) and her team made us feel special as soon as we walked through the door. We were both very nervous, but we would put at ease straight away by their kindness and professionalism. The event was perfectly organised and the ceremony was delivered beautifully. We left feeling like it couldn’t have gone any better. We are so happy that we chose this venue for our special day. Thank you.

I photographed a couple of weddings here and it's one of my favourite venues in London. The staff are loverly and it runs like a well oiled machine. The light coming into the alcoves are super dramatic and theres some cool spots round the back for more photos.
