Barking Town Hall

The precinct surrounding the town hall completely reinvented and modernised as a fit for purpose and safely designated public realm.
Job done..apparently.
However there’s a absence of joie de vivre in the sterile, stage-crafted environs and a noticeable shortfall of people about.
Nice lilac poles though and the noteworthy clock tower.

This is one of the most soothing places to sit in sun and just relax in a cozy winter and watching kids play nearby. I wish there was a lake nearby to add the setting sun feel to the filmy look of this place. Flags add the royal look to the clock heightened to show that time never stops for anyone. Secure and safer place for families to visit. #vikrmn

The European flag should be removed from the front of the building, we are not in Europe as they well know, any political statement should not be on display on a public building

Didn't get what I wanted but receptionist was very helpful if only the people who I want to speak too were as helpful but the individual involved had better watch out because I have his bosses email!

Big and various market around, clean nice and tidy.

Barking town hall is a nice place, have only ever had to go inside once. The reason I give it one star is because it still fly's the EU flag!!
We are NOT in the EU now so flying this flag should be illegal!!
Take it down.
