Splott Park

Would give it 5 stars if it wasn't occasionally riddled with horse dung. Need to be extra watchful of my dog when I go there, as she tends to roll around in it and eat it. Otherwise lovely and open, love you the fencing and the green. Excellent place for a stroll, just beware of horse manure if you want to have a sit down or walk your dog.

Nice open space for children to play. Access is now restricted due to the entrances being changed to prevent motorbikes. This has made it difficult, if not impossible, to enter if you have a wheelchair etc. Very frustrating and upsetting for those who need assistance and is quite discriminatory.

This park would be so much better if the council or police cared that drugs were sold here or older teens were taking drugs here.
There is so much space to do more here also but its like most parks, councils don't care what happens after they've built them and I left with my daughter in our last visit as the group of teens hiding behind the park area clearly doing drugs is not really the backdrop a parent would want for their young children, regardless of how common or realistic it is to this area...

Much better now they have sufficient fencing and barriers to keep the dangerous hooligans on dirt bikes and motorcycles out. BMX track is a welcome feature. Playground is a bit below par and needs some renovation.

I walk my dog here every day however at the moment they are having a 3G pitch installed.and the entrance to the park is a total mess.

Splott park, which sadly, is in Tremorfa.

Take from that what you will.

It's simply a park with no extra facilities and entrance part was so muddy.

Lots of space run about. A basketball court and a football pitch as well. Watch out for ocassional broken glass though. Next to it is a little playground just enough to let the little ones have some fun on a swing and a slide
