Pontcanna Fields

Lovely big grassy area close to the city centre. Nice walks around the fields and usually some football or cricket games being played in the summer. Nice place for disposable BBQ's or relaxing in peace.

Busy gathering place in the sun with people playing team games and generally enjoying this open area on the west side of the River Taff.

It links into Landaff fields to the west through the boundary wall and Bute Park across the Blackweir Bridge.

Very beautiful and good place to walk

Probably our fave place to take our 3 dogs. Wide open areas, plenty of space for them to run and play.
With the added advantage of the little café next to the car park

Brilliant site, well run and clean with well spaced pitches and just a walk away from Cardiff city centre. Welcoming for dogs as well as their owners. Just a stones throw from Pontcanna Fields themselves where dogs can run themselves ragged.

My dogs favourite place in the world but the amount of escooters and other electric transport flying down the paths is getting out of hand

Only stayed 1 night, but check in was easy and efficient. Friendly. My shower block had no hot water(temporary problem)but the other block near reception did. Toilets clean but maybe getting a little dated. 6 digit code to enter toilet block which was frustrating!
