I have used Surrey Stitch twice, both times to alter delicate evening dresses. The craftsmanship is of the highest standard, it is a pleasure to find someone who cares so much about the quality of his work. I would not hesitate in recommending Surrey Stitch and will certainly be using the, again in the near future.

Fabulous Tailor I would highly recommend. A wedding suit was delivered 4 days before the wedding with trousers too short, waist too tight and jacket way too large! I took it to Surrey Stitch who altered it all perfectly with no fuss and made sure it was all ready in just 2 days in time for the wedding. Really great service.

My son asked Surrey Stitch to replace a broken zip. He is extremely pleased with the result and was happy with the price and speed of service. They even called to recommend he pick it up before the second lockdown forced the shop to close. Would use again and recommend.

I requested a very complicated and detailed jacket and gave them a reference photo. By a week I received a call saying my jacket is done; when I got there and tried it on it was exactly the exact same stitching etc to the reference photo. I recommend to everyone, very professional. I am happy with Surrey Stitches and will definitely use again!

I had my bridesmaid dress altered here, which was such a great decision! He has a great eye for detail and understanding of the clothing and material. It was an amazing job and the dress fit so well in the end. My now go to tailor!

After reading reviews I contacted Surrey Stitch to alter my wedding dress. They made an arrangement for me to attend the next day between 1-2pm. I arrived at 1:05pm and there was a sign on the door saying they will be returning at 3pm. My calls were unanswered. I can’t wait as I had my 4yr old with me. Will not be using this business as I need reliability.

Repaired zip on my notebook folder and removed the elastic waist band from my shooting jacket. Very pleased with the work.

Visited with a broken zip on my favourite jacket - less than 30 seconds and the jacket was back to normal!

Would definitely recommend a visit, would have been very easy to pull to wool over my eyes as I have no clue regarding tailoring but the gentleman in the shop was genuine and not looking to make a quick sale out of me he genuinely wanted to help!

Was in and out within 2 mins!
