House of Fraser

I nice store that still has the echo of departmental old school shopping. Somewhat middle-class and label conscious, it offers the choices of Gucci and Hugo Boss amongst its own in house labeling. It as all the disabled accesses, toilets, escalators and signage to make sure no one gets lost. Overall it's a old school experience that some appreciate while others avoid.

Most the staff are friendly & helpful. However just recieved miserable service from a seemingly arrogant member of staff.

(Staff ID: 591164 - middle aged coloured British woman in case she was using a colleague's ID).

Kept myself & other customers waiting at checkout whilst dealing with something else. No "hello", no "sorry for the wait", no "please" or "thank you". I gave her better service than she gave me 🤔

Experiences like this make me not want to return.

My experience in House of Frazer was great. Lovely lady helped me to choose a nice perfume. She listened to me carefully and recommended a lovely selection of perfumes where I could easily choose the one I liked the most. Great service with a lovely smile. Will be coming here again .

Awful experience yesterday in the bag section. Extremely rude older woman was being intimidating and having an attitude to all customers, putting them off buying any bags. When customers want to purchase an item, they should not be greeted with an awful attitude. Reading through these comments shows House of Fraser have some serious issues with the quality of their staff. In todays economy with so many people looking for jobs, there is no excuse to retain rude staff when you could give the job to someone who deserves it.

Absolutely disgusted by House of Fraser today, I thought it was a high end store, they charge enough. The staff were dressed acted like they are working at Sports Direct, I spent over £400 in there today and it seems that I was buying some 12 for 6 Sports socks

Lovely quality goods. I love to just come and browse in here even if not buying.
There have been good sales on children's toys, beautiful shoes if need a pair for special occasion.

Absolutely fantastic customer service from Audrey, I bought an item for my wife, after 6 months the item broke, I didn't have the receipt but had proof of purchase, Audrey arranged for the item to be exchanged straight away..... No fuss

Sales staff extremely helpful which made our shopping experience even better and ended up buying the item i wanted.
