Good brand. Good selection of clothing for good prices. Good kids range and plenty to pick. The home ware is really good and again good prices. Customer service is eficient and pleasant. Changing room is clean and good size. Prices are well labelled and easy to find. what you want. sizes available from petitte to plus size. Matalan has recently changed and women clothes at the front makes it easier to find and attracts female buyers

I went in to the Blackpool store looking for the rest clothing for my upcoming wedding. I couldn't find what I wanted but one of the floor walkers (Travis) was incredibly helpful and everything was sorted very quickly. Many thanks go to him for his help as he was fantastic.

Still a nice shop but could do with recognising that some people are bigger than a size 20 . They used to have a good range but noticed it has rapidly declined that line , saw a meagre few articles that were over a size 20 but was not thrilled. All people that are of larger proportions are NOT all short in height but are well over 5'-8" . Besides that, a good selection of children's wear and for men good up to date selection. Not forgetting the home ware section .

A few nice items in regular collections but not enough plus size range and the plus size they did have was horrible. Plus size need flattering clothes not frumpy. So many clothes that are in normal range that would be fab in plus size. Why not just add one or 2 sizes to normal range?

Since the store has been redesigned the ladies department seems cramped and dysfunctional. The mens department however is now spacious up on the first floor. Empty of shoppers but nicely spaced out.
Back to the womens department, the clothes are at an affordable price which is it's saving grace. Just feel like I'm dragging my basket through the clothes instead of around them as they have crammed them in.
There is a lovely household department which is adequately spaced out and has some great dining sets at competitive prices.

Lovely store. But found I needed the toilet urgently. And they were closed. So had to put all the childrens clothe back and run to Tesco's. And ended up buying there instead. You lost £100 sale. If shop is open. So must the toilets be.

We returned an item bought online to store today the lady at the counter was very helpful and processed our transaction with no fuss even though I only had the order ref no receipt! our interactions with 2 members of staff were very positive so want to say thank you to them both
