What an absolute joke of a store. I had to go into the Cambridge branch as it’s the closest Zara to me within a sensible distance, and what a shocking mess it is. I needed to try on a dress as sizing can be unpredictable when buying online with Zara and luckily they had one size left in the dress I was looking for. I waited almost 40 minutes to try it on as the queue went almost to the front of the store and went down unbelievably slow (considering how many cubicles there are, not many women were actually being allowed in to use them?!). The store was an absolute mess too. Not much stock, little to no bags, shoes etc. everything was a jumbled mess where people have waited so long they have ditched items etc. I went in with the intention to buy some perfumes and that looked like a reduced and damaged section at a pharmacy with things broken or missing parts. It was just a mess and then we had to wait almost another 30 minutes to pay, to then get met with the rudest staff I’d seen in a long time. If I wasn’t in need for the dress that day, I would have walked out. Clothing wasn’t treated well by staff as they dragged items across the mucky floor from the changing rooms, back to racks etc and it just seemed a shambles. Never will I ever shop there again, it’s just a mess with a heafty price tag on items. I’m genuinely shocked area managers allow that branch to be so bad. Judging by the other reviews it’s being going on for quite some time too.

Not a huge amount of stock for certain types of men's clothing. Last time it has a wider range of all types of clothing, this time it seemed to be focused more on stock clear out of older stuff then selection. Maybe it's the time of the year (summer) maybe it's just what is happening due to global conditions (2022) but it was slightly disappointing. Got one item that I was after but couldn't get the other 2 common items. Surprising but I'd still go to Zara's again as I generally like their stock

Customer service does not seem to be the priority in this branch - the queue is always excessively long, and the staff on tills seem to have no sense of urgency in dealing with the situation. Instead of actively working to reduce the line, there are several staff members either lingering, or all dealing with the same issue (which could be dealt with by one person). The manager on duty seemed to perpetuate this issue with his general negative attitude towards customer service, and did nothing to encourage his team.

The shop is big, gives you a wide range to pick from.

However it's a shame about the perfumes downstairs you can't ever access them as there is always people in line for the tills.
Which moves me on to mention the tills... why have 3 staff standing at the side of the till to discuss when people are going on break... when you have over 10 people waiting to be served amd only 1 till open?! Honestly just open and another till and have happy customers.

I went to them with a problem caused by them and as I’m explaining the lady (lots of ear piercings, brown hair) is not saying anything or acknowledging that I am even speaking to her.
She then is chatting with her colleagues about unrelated things while my problem is unsolved.

It was a weird negative attitude and I felt like I was disturbing them when I was asking for help.

Terrible customer service experience, rude and slow staff. Would not recommend , better to shop somewhere else

The opening hours were wrong, so they closed right when I wanted to enter the changing rooms.
The changing room was pretty disgusting
Also they shut down all the changing rooms and mirror one hour before it actually closes and don’t tell their customers, but still leave the store open
The two times I went there I had bad experiences, it was really annoying

Always love shopping at Zara. But this branch doesn't have self check out and there's always a long queue at the cashier. It used to be very good at displaying items, styling it but it felt like it change.
