Peacocks Upton Park

It is the 2nd time that I have had a bad experience in this store. The clothes are affordable and I live close by, this is mainly the reason why I go here but twice now this same asian man, quite tall ish and black hair. Probably the manager who served me at the till a few months ago (I wish I wrote his name) but he actually didn't want to serve me. Like I was interrupting him in whatever he is doing. He never acknowledge me, not smiled, said hello and even a thank you for shopping like I was bothering him or something! These kind of people shouldn't be doing whatever they are doing if they cannot do their job properly. To be honest I am not looking for anything especial but I had much better customer service in a corner shop than this Peacocks store!
I work in luxury retail and this behaviour is totally unacceptable. I could be having a bad day but I always make sure I say Hi and smile to customers even if they are just browsing and if they are paying with me, I make sure that I say hi and thank you! But this man NEVER did any of that! I just think it is very rude! And today again he was there but not on till but pretending to be busy at the kids area and again even though it would have been nice if I got offered help because I couldn't find what I was looking for. Again he never acknowledge me and I was with my kids who were a little hyper after school and just being kids but what did he do, instead of saying it in a nicer way....he shouted NO RUNNING! NO RUNNING! they ran for a second and was not trashing the place because it already looks trashed but he didn't have to shout like that! I am completely appalled. I know how to handle my kids and I don't let them run around. My son ran for a second but he acted as if they were running for ages and wrecking things! That all happened today 29th of November around 5pm or just before. Who hired this rude man! I should have just left after that but I still paid and again spent over £50+. Today will be my last day shopping at this store. NEVER AGAIN.

I live close by and I shop in Peacock all the time, love the clothes quality, style, my favourite are shirts in one colour with lace that can go with anything, they look really elegant. But what I have to mention are few things: no A/C, no one to help you when you need to go to changing room and when they do there is a limit for items. And last thing really really bad customer service, they really need some training or to think about changing they occupations. And as I work in hotel at the reception I pretty much know how difficult people can be, I work 12h shifts day and night but smile and help people 99% of the time. Here I don't even get a smile or thank you. I never leave reviews but with last few times I came to the store and to Iceland near by I had to leave a review for both. And just to mention I shop in these stores almost on daily bases.

Not sure about all the negative reviews, for me UPTON PARK PEACOCKS has been a great store! I've gotten an amazing top and some ALEXIA jeans from there, as well as some small accessories. They've all been great and it's pretty easy to find good prices if you know where to look.Excellent customer service very helpful over the phone, suggested alternatives such as online and checking other stores for item Amazing service, The helpful young Muslim lady who is the supervisor at the till went the extra mile to make sure I’m satisfied with the items that I tried on I really am surprised how helpful UPTON PARK PEACOCKS is. Keep up the hard work and 100% will visit again.

Came here a while ago during busy christmas time and i had so much trouble finding items at first as the store was so messy and unclean the items were scattered everywhere and I needed to do a exchange of something I bought from Stratford peacocks store the manager there was so rude to me but I still purchased her clothing from her store and spent over £45 so now I come to this store and the colleague says to me she can’t do an exchange or a refund and I need to go back to Stratford i felt like complaining to the customer service people but a young lady with glasses came and solved my issue and the other colleague was standing there stupid But the other lady was very patient with me i was very happy to come back next time, it was a nice experience to meet someone kind as i do not usually live here, Im very happy with the service from this young lady becyase i also went to next in stratford and the workers were so rude and moody was aboslutely disgusted by their attitude so im very pleased thank you a lot !! :)

The store is having a 20% sale but footfall was low. Ranges seemed old. The store itself needed a good tidy the oddments tables near the tills needed a good wipe down top to bottom and clear pricing. Have not been here for a long time not how I remember it

Store manager has created a warm and friendly atmosphere, staff are very happy and polite and as a customer I feel very welcomed by all, could teach other retailers a thing or 2 about service. My favourite place to shop.

My click and collect was delivered to their Upton Park store on 08.02.2019 and the email stated they will keep it for 28 days in store! I went on 23.02.2019 and the most rude and agressive store manager I have ever met was the store manager of Peacocks Upton Park branch!
She informed me she already returned the order as its expired , she did not apologise for returning it back before 28 days and became very aggressive and was shouting at me when I tried to explain and when I asked for a confirmation of recieving my money back into my account!
She did not provide any proof but kept on shouting at me and refused to provide her name! I had to leave the store as it was very humiliating she kept on shouting ! When I called the store again later to get my money back she was shouting again at me and slammed down the phone on my face!
This unacceptable behaviour by the UPTON PARK PEACOCKS store manager has caused me mental distress and humiliated me infront of other customers! And I still have not recieved my money back yet after 12 days!
This company has stolen my money ! I urge all to not to shop online from Peacocks or to ever visit their Upton Park branch! I do not know how such an rude and aggressive person can become a store manager!
