Matalan

Great out of town fashion at very affordable prices, plus regular sale items. I like that they open late and always have plenty of free parking. There's even an in store bathroom if you get caught short! I have used their drop off Service for dpd a parcel too it was really convenient. Only gripe is that I've had not the best customer service on a couple of occasions.

The lady was very nice. Had the time to sort out a reward card. Wasn't rushing at all. Music isn't my thing. Car park has lots of space. Got some nice pillows which weren't to expensive. Needs more photo frames in there. Towels to expensive. Children's range is good. Lots of bits and bobs for the kitchen. Would go again.

I've only been to Matalan twice very recently and as well as having a large selection of men's and women's clothing, underwear, shoes and much more it also has the best air conditioning system in my opinion! 🙂 The shop assistants were very helpful and friendly on my second visit.... 😏

Have used them in the past for quality homeware and other sale bargains like naturally crafted woven bags. Even purchased my first puffer jacket from here for only six quid(slight tear & fault that isn't isn't really visible especially when zipped up). Can't fault the click & collect service at all 💯

Went into Bridgwater store today 3rd May 2022.
We wanted to have one item refunded and purchase another one..
We asked a young lady shop assistant and were told to stand at the end of the tills.
Then our troubles started.
A young man shop (strange hair style ) assistant told us we were in the wrong place and very abruptly told us to move back to we started.
He then spoke to friend of his and left us stranded.
He needs to be trained on how to treat customers or if this doesn't help sack him.

Looks a bit shabby , went in with my granddaughter, she bought a few bits , was happy with her buy , I might go back as I saw a few things I liked .

Great value and good cloths

Easy to move around store and covid safety measures. Counters for cash or card and parcel collection. Would have been better to have 2 staff serving rather than the 1 who also had to collect instore parcels. This would ensure customers can move in and out of store safely and quickly.
