First time in here without following my partner around. Very Primarkish, so can understand its popularity. Couldn't spot any well known brands, but the quality of the goods appears to match the prices.

Amazing customer service, so impressed to see staff wearing masks too. Greeted at door by lovely person who directed me to click & collect and advised correct way out. I had received wrong order by courier but manager was brilliant, offered a full refund or to have correct items collected for me in store while i waited. A short time later she was back with my items, refunded ones not in stock, making me a very happy customer. Thank you Matalan Tamworth for such excellent service

I recently drove a long way to shop at Matalan, I spent a short time walking round the store but needed to go to the Toilet,so I could carry on shopping. I asked the member of staff if she,d point out where the toilets that were advertised were she said I'm sorry we don,t have any and told me to go to NEXT. I then asked another member of staff for the Toilet only to be told they were out of order. I then went to NEXT and spent my money there and didn,t bother going back to Matalan. There loss.

I was waiting in the que today and a lady had shouted anyone paying by card can pay here. I’ve never used these machines before. I scanned my items and asked my daughter to grab me a carry bag from the shelf. I was nearly finished and it asked me if I brought my own bag I clicked 1 as I picked a bag up. The lady came over said no you can’t use that as no bags I was really confused and she deleted it from my basket. I paid and left with my items and the bag my child passed to me. I had got out the shop and walked towards next and the same lady had come out of the shop and shouted you haven’t paid for that bag. I was mortified by far and felt disgusted and embarrassed I had been treated like that :( my child is only six and she was scarred how the lady came out shop.

Some great items in the new year's sale, and some good value clothing in the range they have available. Homewares are perhaps not as good, but there are some good items of you look hard enough. Definitely worth using your Matalan card for extra discounts and rewards.
