Barbour Partner Store, Rushden Lakes

Fantastic experience!!! When you’re spending hundreds…. The staff need to be on point with their product knowledge and with their customer service. The new store manager is doing amazing work here. I bought the Ogsten and love it! Highly recommend purchasing from here. You will be looked after well!

We went to the store for the second time today and have been to the one in Trentham Gardens twice and simply cannot believe the outstanding customer service from every single member of staff. Nothing is too much trouble for them. We find online shopping a nightmare as with Barbour clothing you really need to try things on because of the styling and materials. You can vary in size if buying something padded like a polar lined fleece versus a lighter raincoat. This would normally mean ordering multiple items and sending things back with all the hassle. Instead, both stores suggested that they get the items in store for us with literally no obligation to buy! Amazing! The returns policy is 90 days which is brilliant too just in case you change your mind- as we did with a pair of Aigle wellies which we later decided to change to Du Barry boots (obviously had not been worn). The assistants are first class in their communication to you by phone and brilliant when you are making choices between items. They will give an opinion which is very considered if you ask them but above all they give you the time to make up your mind.
You really don't get this sort of customer service anywhere else which is why we drive for miles to get to this store. The very best you can get- believe us.

Visited Barbour at Rushden Lakes today, and Jane very kindly helped my husband in purchasing a jacket. Jane was helpful, friendly and honest in her assistance. I then looked for a jacket for myself, this took a little longer as I didn't really know what I was looking for! But again Jane was very helpful, allowing me to try as many of the styles I needed to make a choice. Nothing was too much for her, Jane gave me as much advice as she could. Finally I decided on a jacket.. I think Jane and her team have just right dynamics needed to make customers feel at ease, comfortable and relaxed when shopping in the store. Will definitely make a return visit... Thank you Jane...

Went into the store at Rushden Lakes. Two extremely helpful ladies who spent a long time showing me the different waxed coats they had. I eventually chose the black sapper mens coat, a lovely shirt and a hat. Great service and lovely sense of humour. The guy from Brighton :)

Popped in for a quick browse and a nice new wax jacket caught my eye. Great service and advice from the team. Their sizing advice was spot on. Ended up popping a couple of new jumpers in the bag too!

What a fantastic service both Linda and Sammi provided this afternoon. Both were very patient and helpful, as I tried on several wax coats, both were very knowledgeable and made my shopping experience fun and enjoyable. I will be returning soon.

I visited recently to get one of my jackets sent away to be rewaxed, the staff are very friendly and helpful and were very honest about not paying extra to have the jacket cleaned as they said they felt it wasn't warranted.
They have a wide selection of the core products that the brand are famous for, the only drawback I could say is they don't have any of the children's clothes at this store, that shouldn't take away from a very good experience though.

Very kind refund policy, I bought a coat nearly two months and left it in my wardrobe, as weather is getting cold, I took the coat out of the wardrobe and tried it, I realised it's a bit too big for me, took it to the shop, refund me. Amazing service. Highly recommended!
