Unfortunately I had to give this place a rating just to be able to give a review when it doesn’t deserve even a one star .....
My mother had many years of being a member here and spent many hours selling poppies for Remembrance Day out in the freezing cold but was happy to do this for a great cause.

Sadly my dear mum psssed away on 13 November 2018 so we thought it would be a nice place to hold her wake after her funeral so we booked the room upstairs and payed the deposit.

On arriving we were barked at “ Upstairs” no sorry for your loss etc
After that things went from bad to worse with the bar closing after 3 hours and the so called community members shouting at myself and my family causing us all more heartache after a heart breaking day already.

I’ve never experienced such a group of vile nasty people in my life and I don’t know how they sleep at night after what they did.

Good friendly staff lovely location.We go there for our regimental association monthly meetings.cannot fault them.

Top class hotel and restaurants. I recommend the Sunday lunch. The staff bend over backwards to oblige.

Brilliant staff go above and beyond to ensure everyone is having a good time and they can't do enough for the kids really friendly atmosphere

Bar staff are lovely, great atmosphere , offer a good variety of food and drink as well as entertainment ..considering becoming a member...

Friendly and warm welcome. Decent priced drinks. Child friendly. Join in community events.

Royal British Legion Club for a party, great venue. Lots of small shops sadly all closed will return to check them out when open

Cheap prices for drinks. Won't do raffle as seems to be only regulars winning! But very hospitable .
