This is a members only club but providing good food and drink at club prices means this is a great place to join. Breakfasts are served to public so worth a visit to check it out!

It is quiet and remote. Away from the madding crowd. Known as the 'East Cowes' for its marina, boatyards and yachting. A beautiful village turned town with amazing views across the tidal River and estuary and nothing but marshlands, grass and trees across the other side. It is a hidden gem where you can take fresh air walks and not choke on car and coach fumes. Pollution (both noise and air) is noticeably lower than just a few miles towards Southend and the London Basin. Beautiful sunrises and sunsets it seems to have a micro-climate of its own where there seem to be more days of sunshine and a milder, warmer climate overall. The people who live there smile and say hello. They are friendly, approachable and helpful. Pop in a local hostelry to a warm welcome and smiling chatty people. There is a community spirit and an identity and belonging. I would imagine it is a lovely place to live as well as to visit.
