I have always enjoyed The Slug and Lettuce and this restaurant was no different. I haven't been in a few years however the menu continues to have a great selection with updated vegetarian and vegan options. As for the service, they bring the wrong drinks and then served flat prosecco but the staff were very pleasant and rectified it immediately.

Nice place to hangout for drinks... they do serve food but we didn't order any. I would go back here... various age ranges of adults however more younger folk than older. Decent price cocktails 🍸 I really enjoyed the 'Dancing Queen' and the pina colada looking one with a banana sweet on top they tasted the best 👌🏼

had a small party with friends on 31.08.22 at 7.15 pm. Leanne who was behind the bar was very rude and not welcoming. was on the phone and not even a smile. the cocktails she prepared was very bad and her language / or actions are not acceptable as a customer service point of view. first she only gave us one stirrer for the cocktails and no straws. when i asked she rudely refuse to give me straws or stirrers. So we waited for her to disappear and order the other set with Emma surprise surprise the cocktails came with straws. Felt very very uncomfortable and left with huge disappointment. St Albans is very affluential and multicultural town this person behavior not only acceptable to certain extent it is offensive. Hope you can educate her to the standards you would like customers wanted.

I have had a great experience today at the Slug and Lettuce in St Albans. The staff are always helpful and friendly and there is a good atmosphere. Amber was particularly helpful and friendly, as a single customer it is important to feel safe and comfortable and have a welcoming member of staff to talk to.

Cocktails are good , whoever when you ask the manager for a take out box to take the left over home (for the food that you paid for) and they rather throw it away then give it to you ! Totally shameful of this place to allow food waste! Do not give money to this backwards place! Is 2022 not 1998 where food run in abondance. Anyway got the food at the end by being inventive
