Slug & Lettuce - Hanover Street

The food is alright. Bonus points for presentation and even more bonus points for the Staff. Very, very friendly, professional and always trying to help.
Unfortunately my experience was a very unpleasant one and I have tried for 3 weeks to fix it without any results.
Basically I got double charged for a simple burger with chips and onion rings due to their app having troubles processing a simple payment. Then the lack of mobile service inside the location didn't help either. Wasted 10 mimute trying to order.
Do not use their app under any circumstances. You're much better off if you order at the bar.
I will personally never return to any location because of this experience. I will also make sure I won't bring anyone else here either because I don't wanna put them through the same waste of time I went through, trying to recover my money.

I went to Slug & Lettuce Hanover Street for Bottomless Brunch with my friend and was served by the lovely Elliot. He was really attentive and professional making sure we had drinks flowing regularly and were well cared for. Couldn’t recommend this place enough, excellent value for money and fantastic service! I’ll be bringing my other half back here next month. Thank you :)

Lovely and great creative drinks and deals but WAY TOO MUCH ICE. I CERTAinly do not agree. What is the point? I get two sips. This is something that should CERTAINLY GET RECONSIDERED. Starbucks puts a lot of ice in drinks (93%, as confimerd by them) yet here, they add 110%! Otherwise lovely

Alice is friendly and welcoming! Definitely the best stug and lettuce I've been to till date. Service and recommendations was superb! Great vibe and ambience. Would highly recommend this slug and lettuce.

This place is only the shadow of what it used to be. I used to come have lunch here every time I was in London : it was always packed with a very cosy atmosphere , the food was good and fresh. Service was great.
This time, the place was empty. You have to order at the bar (new) ; I order, I pay. No receipt, the guy disappears without saying a word. . When my order arrives , I ask for the receipt. They say there is a problem. They charged me too much. Refund takes ages.
I can understand a mistake , I can understand a technical problem.
But the food was really awful : a dry greasy tasteless sandwich like you would receive in a shady fast-food.
I don’t understand how they can keep the name when obviously there is nothing left from « the slug and lettuce «  that used to be.

Incredible service.
Clean space.
Nice atmosphere.
Great drinks.

Euan is excellent. I came for my 23rd birthday and he made it extremely special for me. He went above and beyond. I really recommend the Hanover Street branch. I rarely ever give out 5 stars - this branch really deserves it.

Also the cocktail tree is amazing! Best drink I’ve had in London!

Popped into day for dinner. Food was fantastic. Served by Rosie. Very happy to help went above and beyond. Exactly what a server should be. Amazing girl. She’ll be the reason I return. Thank you Rosie :)
