What a wonderful hidden gem! I found this online while looking for unique places to have proper tea while in London. We wanted something nice, but no pink and lace. This parlour was like an old speak easy or cigar bar in appearance. Quiet. Cozy. The server was a nice fellow with glasses and a pompadour, but I can't remember his name. He was the only server, but he didn't make anyone wait for anything. The tea and nibbles were fantastic. Very delicious! And I can't say enough about the atmosphere. Laid back and wonderful in my opinion.

Wonderful little bar for cocktails. Good selection of drinks to choose from with some unusual cocktails on the list. Venue is lovely and cosy, especially if you get seated near the fire. Service was a little slow, but would recommend a visit if you can get a table

The cocktails and small plates were delicious, especially the sausage and haggis roll and nduja on sourdough. Staff were very friendly and helpful eith menu choices.

Even though I made a booking and time slots were available for the entire early evening, we had to vacate our table within an hour. I was told upon arrival that the table would be needed for a large party. At that point I had no option but to take the table for the hour. This meant I had to end my meeting early. I don’t know why my booking was accepted if this was the case. With the shortened table time, I hoped that the nibbles we ordered could at least be delivered promptly. Upon being seated we quickly ordered wine and olives. It took at least 20 minutes for the olives to arrive. The delay was not explained - clearly nothing had to be cooked. It was simply olives
I’m hesitant to return given the circumstances.

Shocking they still get any customers at all given the obnoxious reception that awaits those who cross the threshold. The booze is good but overpriced. Service frankly disgraceful & wholly unsuited to the elegant old world decor. Lessons in etiquette urgently required here. Don't risk it of you like to be served with a smile.

The overall afternoon tea experience was great. The food was delicious and the ambiance was old school glam.

A hidden gem with quirky oldy worldy decor, and a lovely laid back atmosphere. The menu was a welcome change to the usual afternoon tea fayre, good service and everything was delicious. We were left to enjoy the experience without being rushed. Would recommend.

Beautiful bar full of exquisite details and delicious cocktails. By the fireside in the winter is best. Recommend booking in advance!
