Burlock Rum Room

A lovely hidden spot/gem in central London close to Mayfair / Selfridges, a walk away from Bond street station. The vibes in this Caribbean bar were great, there was a DJ leading great music. It wasn’t too crowded. Had a retro style design with rustic furniture and fairly lights. Friends and I were here recently. We all loved it. The rum punch comes in a bowl and can be shared with a group, there is wine, Caribbean beer and great bar snacks. Loved the chorizo! The staff were so so lovely, polite, patient and friendly. They made our night and so did the music. Drinks were good, loved it and will definitely go back.

Super place, Friday nights are rocking here. So is Weekends, This place picks up post 10.40pm. Lovely music, Huge collection of liquor and cocktails. A place to unwind urself. Super place really happening. Friendly staff and jovial bartenders .

I’m so glad I discovered Burlock Rum Room. This is my new fave happy hour place. I love the subdued lighting and chilled atmosphere. It’s a nice place to sit down and chat with your friends, sans the noise and crowds that you’d usually experience in pubs or other bars.

It’s like a hidden gem of sorts even though it’s literally in front of Selfridges. The atmosphere is perfect and so are the drinks and food. Topnotch cocktails and delicious small plates all at affordable prices.

Suffice to say, I’ll be hanging out here regularly. Super highly recommended!

love this new find for me…ordinary cocktails from the menu or amazing cocktails are available with the largest selection of rums i’ve seen…then at 9pm live music started and the rest of the night started to be a blur. this place is so welcoming and i have to say it was lovely meeting the bar manager, owner and the other bar staff that all made me feel very welcome and can’t wait to go back….a true find of a place - thank you all..awesome drinks, tasty food and a friendly, safe environment

I was racially discriminated by the waitress working there.

She came to our table and interacted with my friend. When I asked a question the first time she looked at me and ignored me and went back to speaking with my friend.

I then went up to her to ask her if she could take off the service charge on the bill and she talked to me in such a rude manner that I felt I was being belittled due to the colour of my skin. When she took payment from my friend she was very cheerful.

We had our one round of drinks that we ordered and left.

I don’t understand how they can hire staff who are like this. Who bring their prejudices to work and discriminate black people.

A brilliant bottomless brunch - generous servings, good music friendly staff. Cocktails and fries were brought out without us having to ask or chase. Drinks were lovely and the punchbowls were beautiful. Very good value too!

Love this place! Second visit here and still great. Happy hour is always a winner with my favourite rum punch at half price. Tried a few others and they were also great. Very good snack selection too if you get peckish. Generous portion of fries and mushroom tacos were yummy as well. Will definitely be back!
