Tequila Mockingbird Wimbledon

Hate to leave a bad review but...the cocktails here were awful. The first margarita we were given was undrinkable. The bartender kindly exchanged these for new ones after tasting and agreeing very sweet. However the new ones were still not great. I think it's maybe the lime juice used. It's a shame as Tequila Mockingbird Tooting used to have amazing cocktails, but they were really poor from here. We did find another bar upstairs were another bar tender made us an espresso martini which was lovely. But overall very poor cocktails, esp for the price.

Booked a table for 8 people for Saturday evening. Bar staff were friendly and made very delicious cocktails for us!
They also had 2 for 1 cocktails until 8pm which I definitely recommend.

This past Saturday night, after celebrating a friend's birthday, I made the decision to travel to Wimbledon.

After 20 minutes of waiting, the bouncer at the door asked us the following questions before turning us away and saying that our companion was intoxicated. We found the questions to be odd.

What have you been drinking, where have you been, and how many of you are present?

As soon as he noticed our companion (who asked previously about the music) was with us, he turned us aside.

When we requested to meet with management, they bluntly responded with, "Sorry, his on a shift for 12-hours."

The doorman and management might have seen that it would have been difficult for our friend to form coherent sentences if they had been that drunk.

We thought the management and doorman were very unfriendly and clearly a poor judgement of character. Since we had just finished eating, we were all rather overdressed for the event.

Haven't encountered a doorman like this since my early teens. awful four-front for the location. I'm confident that none of the staff members are unkind to visitors who want to come and take advantage of the hospitality. The reputation of any facility is damaged by this kind of door team, especially when the claims are untrue.

To minimise disappointment, my best recommendation is to arrive early, before he begins his shift.

Amazing staff, especaily Dani who helped us out with our table.

It was a bit too busy for my liking but the barman was absolutely amaizing. Nice polite and made sure that I got the drink I wanted. Thanks

Been to another tequila mockingbird establishment before and as expected, it is as great!
Each drink is very tasty and there is often 2-4-1 so having a few fancy and tasty drinks whilst trying to be financially responsable work out.
The staff at this place is very friendly and fun who make sure you are having a good time.
There is a variety of music from lounge music to pop music which is always a treat.
Lots of seating so good to come as a group, or even as two people it's very nice!

Probably the best bar in London, maybe the world!! The bar staff are gorgeous and the drinks are out of this world! Ill be back again for the kinky kiwi mojito's Nd erotic music!

I come here every weekend and had no problems whatsoever right! Tonight queuing up for 15 min and when it comes to show my ID the Security guy telling me you can’t go in as I was waiting for my friends.I’m sure he just wanted to be a boss in front of me but trust me it won’t make any difference to me it just cost to the owner.
