Stopped here as dogs are allowed inside. So glad we did. Obviously popular as quite busy (Monday just after 12pm) but warm, friendly young staff working very hard while staying pleasant. Nice coffee, nice cakes.👏👏

THEY DO NOT ACCEPT CASH PAYMENTS !
This resulted in a very short visit, comprising the time to order, then to discover their attitude to cash, and finally to walk out ! We went next door to the coffee shop within the butcher's. Not only is this discriminatory (notwithstanding the fact that, as a private business, they can do what they like) to those who prefer to use cash, it is also VERY SHORTSIGHTED from a business standpoint. They will lose customers (like ourselves today). Just like cash, when the customers have gone they won't come back ! Needless to say we won't be returning.

A lovely, cosy atmosphere with friendly service and delicious food. Was a little underwhelmed as I had expected a lot more from them and specifically their drinks after seeing rave reviews, but personally haven't experienced anything special from the coffee shop. Quite expensive for what it is. Edited to add photos from previous visits

I spent the day in Lincoln and it was a bit cold so I treated myself to a nice coffee and saw this cafe and after speaking to a member of staff who was friendly and when I can I like to try different drinks and saw that they did a Spanish Latte which was a Latte made with whole milk and condensed milk and I have to say this was the best coffee I have ever tasted and I have traveled a lot and brought a lot of coffees. I'm so glad I went here and will come back again.

Love this place so much. When my partner was at university in Lincoln we came here well over 40 times, and next time we visit the city this is the first place we'll come.

We have now been to 200° in Sheffield, Leeds, York, East Midlands Designer Outlet and Nottingham thanks to how great the coffee tastes, but none of them can beat this one for atmosphere, friendly service (and yes I suppose nostalgia)

Great staff with quirky personalities, beautiful drinks and a good choice of different foods from healthy to more traditional café options. Really nice atmosphere too.

We visited Lincoln for a day and I found this coffee place which has a rostery with freshly roasted coffee and barista school so I thought that we can finally drink some good coffee. Unfortunately our experience was disappointing. The girl on the counter was not very polite and we felt not welcomed at all. She messed with our order as well. The black coffee was terrible. It was overextracted, very bitter and smelled burned. The atmosphere and cakes were nice thought. So if you like nice coffee this place is not for you. If you want anything else and a nice and relaxed atmosphere then it was ok.
