Chiappinis Cappuccino

Vintage feel authentic Italian café, this place has been here since the 1970's and is a refreshing alternative to Starbucks etc. Worth it for the retro alone. And has 5* hygiene rating.

Feels like it's stuck in the 90s. None the less it's a place to escape and have a break from the shops. Nice strong coffee here too.

Lovely cafe diner, haven't been here for years and years and really enjoyed it. Great choice of food and drink. Good service and prices

Poor service waited 15 minutes for bacon baguette this is what I received empty cafe and a local wanted to sit at my table so I had to move not returning

There's alot of competition in Maidstone town for coffee shops and food. We always find this better than larger chains like Costa as you have quite background music, very clean tables and seating. Good section in patisserie section, toasted sandwiches, baguettes or cooked food. It's convenient in The Mall and pleasant surroundings. So, in comparison we find nice stop off point.

Avoid. When shopping centre was evacuated refused to honour out order which was bought and paid for even though we has proof of purchase. Basically stole our money. Won't go back but no great loss as food was average. BB at the other end of the level has much greater food.

This place is very friendly, and helpfull. It also helps that the food is great. We've been here a few times now and always taken someone different with us and they end up loving it to.

Thickshake? Definitely not thick! Would not reccomend if you want a decent milkshake!
