Nice looking place, but was very disappointed by the cream tea. £6.50 for a scone that was bought from a supermarket, the owner said they made them in house when we ask. I mean… take a look at the photo. Very basic.

A lovely courtyard coffee shop with a mixed menu and a Turkish theme. Lovely food and service. Situated in the lovely Reindeer Court environment.bi also like that you can sit outside under glass for a bit of fresh air if you do desire.

Really nice place to be. Everything about it is geared to keeping the customer happy. I haven't rated the food because I didn't have any but others looked really happy with the meals they were served and i will make a point of having eats there next time.

Been to Wlgars twice now, varied menu, beautiful food and out door eating area, friendly efficient staff and an ideal place to eat whether rain or shine, try it you won’t be disappointed!

Five of us popped in here in desperate need of some warmth after walking around the Victorian Christmas Fayre. Although the place wasn't overly the warm the welcome was (cheesy but true! 🤣). A man who I took to be the owner made sure we were well attended to. I had the lamb stew which was delicious, someone else in our party had the all-day breakfast which looked amazing! As we were leaving they had cut two pieces of cake from the display on the counter and they were absolutely HUGE! Would definitely return and would 100% recommend! Apparently they are dog friendly too. 😊

What a fantastic place with excellent food and service!! The manager was a lovely thoughtful and welcoming man to his Turkish cafe. We had an all day breakfast with 1 regular and 1 cafetiere coffee, both of which were amazing!! There was music playing in the background & we felt like we had been transported to another country. There were Turkish/Moroccan-style lamps, cushions & bags for sale, with absolutely no pressure to buy except for them being beautiful. Will definitely be going here again ❤

Nice welcome and friendly, helpful staff

The coffees were great but the food slightly missed the mark.

The portion sizes and price were about right. Our order came out wrong and both dishes had a " generous" topping of VERY mature cheese, which some may like but we both found it to be too much

Other customers sandwiches etc looked nice, probably just avoid anything with cheese on

I had a great tuna fish sandwich. Tea cake was burnt. Carrot cake was just too sweet though.
