I had been meaning to try a pistachio crossiant for ages and I must say they did not disappoint! Throughly enjoyed my coffee too. I went for the pistachio and chocolate mixed filling on the batista recommendation but I can see the pistachio alone being equivalently excellent.

The pastries were ok. Some of them were really dry. Pistachio pain au chocolat was not bad.

Lovely, friendly service and best of all, they had the ingredients and allergens available for each item on the table. Makes life so much easier for me and the servers, rather than flip through a booklet. Plant based chocolate and banana muffin was delicious as well. Highly recommended and definitely the best coffee shop I've been to recently

I went here and saw a lot over a long period because I liked the coffee - the staff all constantly leave this place and told me that the owner (who tries to keep himself Anonymous…) mistreats them and makes them refuse to talk to customers, as for customers themselves, the owner and his wife I’ve seen rude to many making them offended or argue and leave. In short, this is not a social coffee shop as advertised and is an abusive environment. He should close and sell his coffee and cakes in bulk online or something instead of posing as a respectful businessman.

Awful customer service by the manager. Who had the hump because I no longer wanted to buy a gift voucher after waiting 5 minutes for them to take the order and another 7 minutes ( as the manager corrected me ) for the coffee. Maybe train your staff correctly so you don’t have 2 people trying to work out the till while 1 poor girl is left to make the coffee. Support small business that deserve your support. Talk and short by the Chiswick station deserve your support and make the best coffee with smiles

The food is great - their pistachio pain au chocolat doesn’t disappoint and their coffee is the best I’ve found in the area. However, the service we received was not up to the same level. The young ladies are very attentive and helpful, but unfortunately this last time I visited I was served by an old woman, (who seems to be the manager) who was very unpleasant. To start off, I politely asked her to clean the table and she replied saying I first needed to order. What an odd response. Are you going to keep your place dirty until a customer orders? That should have been cleaned regardless. And it was one of the baristas who went to clean it, so not that she was busy. I had asked is the orange juice was freshly squeezed, which she replied rolling her eyes “yes it’s fresh!!”. Then she served me with a Pistacchio croissant instead of the pain au chocolat I had ordered and when I pointed out, again, politely, she acted as if it was my mistake. Honestly, this woman was so lazy and unpleasant, she seemed to be actively trying to be rude, acting as if she was doing me a favour. I find it really bizarre that the customer was much more polite than the manager, when both should show kindness!
I may give it another chance because, as I mentioned, the food is good, although pricey, but I’d like to see an improvement in the service. I have just checked the other reviews and I’m disappointed to see the managers mistreat their staff. I want to support small business but they need to be respectful towards their staff too!!
