Absolutely useless! If you leave something behind don't bother going back to see if it's there. They throw it out with that trash.
And for staff, don't make a promise you can't keep - I was told I'd receive free coffee if my item couldn't be found and when I asked for this I was told I can't get it. Lying gets you nowhere

I took my nieces and nephew for a treat after school. Had some lovely hot chocolates and snacks. The staff were so friendly and helpful, particularly Gena. Will definitely come back with the kids :)

Excellent service from female staffs today. They are highly professional and well presented. I used to 50p offer throughout the 3 days and mostly impressive hot drinks that are actually hot and tasty. Not to mention the store is actually well kept, airy and made to look spacious. Staff also wear masks. Overall one of the best and reliable coffee shop in the area.

Second time when I’m going there and getting warm chocolate not hot chocolate you should change the name if that’s the standard or train properly your stuff

The service and coffee were fine. Fairly standard. It's the cafe. It is unloved. Old tacky tables, torn seats, dirty wooden flooring that hasn't been cared for, grubby toilets. Worst think is that it smelled of damp. Needs a makeover this place. Plenty of more pleasant coffee shops to choose from in Chiswick.

My personal experience in this particular coffee shop wasn't the best, I must admit. I was in there ages waiting to be served. I'd been walking about in the dark for over an hour looking for Sainsbury's Superstore and saw this Costa, which I can't remember visiting before. Anyway, when they eventually served me & I told them I'd been waiting for ages, (I'm a pleasant pensioner remember, with a stick) all they said to me was "The queue is the other side." How was I to know that?! Disorientated and thirsty, I ordered my coffee & cake. Luckily for them, the young man who hadn't told me about the queue, offered to help me by taking the tray over for me, for which I was very grateful. If Costa asks me about my visit to this location, I will tell them the same. I really think they ought to be trained to be more friendly to pensioners. I did notice, however, that it was a family-friendly place - something I learned about Costa but they tend to sit more at the back if they can. Family friendly doesn't mix with pensioner-unfriendly. So 😐.
