Overall great eat in experience, very busy branch with great sitting area. We visited on Saturday morning when store was very busy, The best part was the amazing staff who were serving very quickly and diligently. We ordered cappuccino, iced latte which was amazing, enjoyed both drinks. Highly recommended for a quick stop.

Absolutely disgusting customer service! Store was not busy at the time I attended!!
I wanted to order a salted caramel frappe and got a reply from Vicky that they didn't have the ice to make a frappe, when she had just brought ice from the back storeroom to make a frappe for another customer, the reply being that they would have ice in 1 hour when the store was already closing, knowing that an ice machine in 10 minutes maximum can produce ice for a frappe, being willing to wait up to 20 minutes to try this new product. The mess inside and at the table outside is a disaster, I finally ordered a latte but it seems I had to serve it in the mess because none of the staff bothered to come and pick up the mess from other customers.

Costa Coffee was founded in London in 1971 by Sergio Costa as a wholesale operation supplying roasted coffee to caterers and specialist Italian coffee shops. It was acquired by Whitbread in 1995, sold in 2019 to The Coca-Cola Company in a deal worth £3.9bn, and has grown to 3,401 stores across 31 countries and 18,412 employees. The business has 2,121 UK restaurants, over 6,000 Costa Express vending facilities and a further 1,280 outlets overseas, including 460 in China.

Coca-Cola acquired Costa from parent company Whitbread PLC for US$5.1 billion on 3 January 2019, providing a coffee platform across parts of Europe, Asia Pacific, the Middle East, and Africa.

Costa branches sell hot and cold drinks, sandwiches, cakes and pastries, and snacks. In 2020, the brand collaborated with three chocolate brands (Quality Street, After Eight and Terry's) for some of their limited-edition Christmas drinks.

Costa moved its roastery from Lambeth to Basildon, Essex, in May 2017 with an investment of £38 million, increasing their annual coffee-roasting capacity from 11,000 to 45,000 tonnes.

In 2020, Costa Coffee canned coffee was introduced.

Costa Coffee employs Gennaro Pelliccia as a coffee taster, who had his tongue insured for £10m with Lloyd's of London in 2009

I went to the store and met my wife she was very pretty and nice and as I am an uncle I really liked her and walked into the kitchen and proposed thank you Costa for helping me meet my wife. The food is average doh 👎🏾

This is a very busy store and the staff provide an excellent, friendly service in spite of the pressure they are under. Its worth mentioning that the litter and mess is created by thoughtless customers who leave their tables in a disgusting state, rather than taking a little time to place their detritus in the bin provided. I love this place.

Absolutely disgusting customer service! Store was not busy at the time I attended. Litterally, the only customer at the till.
Three members of staff available at the till.
I stood there heavily pregnant wearing a badge. Not a single staff member assisted/acknowledge as I waited patiently for some service. There was no 'next please'/'how can I help' maybe I was invisible?
Another customer attended and was immediately served. I will state, she was of a lighter complexion to me.
Please advise if this is how you train staff to provide service to the public. If this is written in your policy that you do not cater for people of colour or pregnant, if there is a criteria to be met. Otherwise I would suggest you pick your employees wisely as it makes your branch look really bad.
