Cornerstone Coffee and Book Shop

The great strength of this place is its friendliness. Food is straightforward and good, from breakfast to lunches and afternoon tea. Service is quick and attentive. It's tucked away on Grovelands shopping precinct, but it's worth the effort to find it.

I have eaten hear a few time because im local and the food is okay but abit hit and miss. The price isnt expensive but isnt cheap ( i.e. £5 for a one filling baggette and drink- 50p per extra filling)

The cafe does breakfasts and other bit but be warned its a very christian religious cafe. Lots of bibles and religious scripture up and a whole shop section with religious food, ornaments, cards etc.

Nice little cafe, drinks and cakes reasonably priced. However too many tables cramped in such a small space. If you're religious, they have ample selection of Christian books and bits and bobs if that's your thing.

I had a cheese and apple toastie on white bread.
It was very good.
The staff were pleasant, kind and helpful, as always.
Very clean place food always good.

We've been coming here for brunch a few times a year since the children were small. They're now 20, 22 and 24 and we still look forward to our visit. Lovely staff, fresh tasty food and wonderful memories!
