Food was nice if limited. Place had an odd feeling with lots of signs everywhere about dos and donts. We were surprised the owner turned away an obvious regular who only wanted coffee when plenty of tables were available. Wouldnt go back.

Lovely little find. Superb food and huge pot of tea. Very good choice. Friendly staff and clearly printed menu which is important for my friend and I as we are visually impaired. The only do the toilets were upstairs and the staircase wound round towards the top. She said they were extremely clean and nice but I wouldn’t have been able to manage that due to disability. I would definitely return

Absolute gem of a place! Real home cooked food with fresh ingredients. Small independent old school establishment. I opted for a roast dinner which was delicious, others had toasties, everyone was happy. Oh almost forgot to mention the coffee is so good!

Came here on Monday with my mom as a treat as we used to frequent it years ago. Initially, loved the place. Drink was lovely, and bought back positive memories. Disappointed however to see a dog in the place. Believe it was the owners but considering we’d purchased food that was being severed to us as the dog was only feet away, it felt quite gross and unhygienic. Food was a mixed bag. Bacon, mushrooms, tomatoe and beans were bloody excellent. However, toast was undercooked. Sausage wasn’t great and was far too greasy. The egg tasted as if it’d been off and was really unpleasant. Mom unfortunately had a really bad experience and ended up needing a bathroom as soon as we’d left and I ended up with a bout of food poisoning that’s lasted until yesterday evening. Really sad because we loved this place but between that and the fact our meal came to £21, really horrified to see the state it’s come to. Wouldn’t recommend to anyone and hope this place actually lives up to its 5 star status

Thank you for accommodating my very small doggy. Your customer service was exceptional. My Mum and I thoroughly enjoyed our delicious lunch. I would recommend this lovely little hidden gem and will be returning very soon!

Popped in today for a coffee and ended up with a roast pork bap with chips and salad garnish. Food and drink was delicious and the staff were very freindly and accommodating. Great value for money. Definitely go in again next time we're in Lichfield. Love to support local traders.

The owener was quite rode to me and my friend and please take the shopping tolleys upstairs with you please. Then she said to us please can you sit on a 2 seat table not the 4 ones please. But when 2 nomal people came in they sat straight on the table of 4. I think the owner just owner just not like people witb a disabilities. I think
she should not have a cafe if dose not expect people with disabilities ok.
