Love this place, just what Caerphilly needs. Have always had welcoming friendly service, great coffee,lovely food and cakes are to die for. Thoroughly recommend a visit you won't be disappointed.

Cute cafe, delicious food, friendly staff!

First time in this place. The young girl behind the counter was miserable and had no manners at all. Forgot to give us forks for our salad and when I asked politely she came across and just dumped them on the table. Asked for sugar, her reply “ in the box on the table ‘ attitude was atrocious. No pleasantness at all and it seemed everything was too much effort. Not a smile or a please or thank you. My young child spilt water on the floor, no reassurance or “ don’t worry, it’s ok” marched out to get a mop and came back scowling. No words spoken during the transaction and I wondered if she was dumb!
Julie, the kitchen staff, on the other hand was so smily, pleasant and engaging. Very courteous indeed. It’s a shame to hear she is leaving. I think the young girl serving needs to learn to smile and be courteous to the customers. I wondered if she was doing community service as she had a face like an aardvark I won’t rush to go back even if the food IS nice !

The rudest staff I have ever come across in my life. Everything too much trouble. Won't be returning!
