A J's Coffee House

Superb little coffee shop, have a variety of coffees. I had a cafe bonbon (espresso with condensed milk) and my wife had a flat white. The breakfasts and eggs benedict are highly recommended. The coffees were great, better than the chains on nearby Albany Road. They even hire the cafe out in the evenings, £75 and karaoke for an extra £25. I'll be making this shop my regular

Well what can i say about AJ's Coffee House. Ran by the wonderful K and home to one of the best fry ups in Cardiff, it is most defiantly one of my favourite Cafes in Cardiff.

Not only does it have fantastic food and drink, the cafe is homely and friendly. I'm a big fan of the garden.

All in all one of the best cafes in Cardiff! 6 Stars!

Was told we are taking no more orders because we just had a big order by a very angry looking lady, you only get one chance to make a first impression and you blew it.

Has the most amazing vegan breakfast 🤩 will most definitely be ordering again! Good value for money too!

Kate the owner is one of the most professional and kind people in the industry. Having only a small amount of staff this place is ran perfectly and professionally without being pretentious. The menu is extensive and delicious and the barista is always attentive with what drinks you would like. For a cafe AJ’s is an all rounder with alcoholic beverages breakfasts and many more. I have booked with AJ’s for private parties before and they’ve been amazing, with a fully equipped stage and kareoke available- Kate also offers buffets and a fully stocked bar- absolutely outstanding place for Cardiff it would be a huge shame if AJ’s were to ever close down as it’s a real gem of Wales.

Had a lovely breakfast here. I had the cooked breakfast and my daughter had pancakes. We both really enjoyed it.

Great food and great coffee

Popped in today for a berry smoothie and a BLT. Smoothie was lovely, lots of it too, not the usual thimble full you normally see in places. BLT was outstanding. Haven't found one that beats University of Glamorgan's Union BLT back in 1999, this one does. Stunning. Thanks!
