Love the coffee in Caffè Nero. Staff are very polite and kind, especially the lady that works there. The place is nice and clean, food and cakes etc always look fresh and they are well presented. Definitely worth a visit

Rude staff. In our experience, we've never had an issue going to a Cafe Nero with our dog despite visiting numerous Nero's and sitting inside, including ones in Nottingham, Derby and the former Nero opposite Cardiff Castle. We were about to enter when we were swiftly approached by a staff member who abruptly spread her arms out to stop us entering. Bemused by this, we stood at the entrance confused why we were refused entry on what grounds. Infront of the staff member, we discussed that ALL Neros have a tenancy to allow dogs but were confused on this occasion as to why. She heard us discussing this as she proceeded to clean a table next to where we were standing and our wuestion as to why was outright ignored. No explanation was given, just a rude stature to stop us going in. Very disappointed in the way this was handled. As we walked away, the staff member in question and other colleagues stared at us as we walked away making us feel really uncomfortable. They were clearly talking about the matter but don't understand why nobody spoke to us.

Service not the greatest, but that's okay for a chain coffee shop. Milkshake however didn't have a hint of a taste of strawberry in it at all

Staff need smile more. Be aware of deaf people who cannot lip read as staff keep turning away.
