If I could give minus stars I would. Customer service is something the owner has never heard of, at best the food is passable and I sincerely feel sorry for the staff here. Would tell all to avoid this establishment.

This is such a lovely coffee shop and china shop. We always pop in for lunch when we are in the area, as the food is excellent and the staff are so welcoming and friendly.

I sat down and was told in a very rude manner to move as it was the owners "favourite chair". I then ordered a coffee and the owner stormed in, I could hear cups smashing and shouting coming form what I assume is the kitchen area. Then three staff members left in floods of tears still wearing their aprons. I asked could I have a refund and cancel the tea as i did not feel comfartable in this atmosphere but the owner (a very angry lady) stormed over and growled "NO CHANCE" at me. She then poured my coffee into an emoty milk carton, shoved it in my hands and told me to get out

UPDATE* I have since had seven dead bats posted through my door, each one had a post it note taped to it that said "Bon appetit - your good friends at fine china"

I have read the previous bad review, and I can categorically say that this is nonsense. The staff, including the owners are lovely, friendly welcoming people. I have never had a bad experience there, and would recommend to everyone. Lovely food and atmosphere.

I think this is a lovely friendly place to go for coffee tea or a meal. Staff are always polite and very helpful. Great place to meet friends in a relaxed atmosphere.

I popped in for a cup of tea one day last week, decided to rder a pot of tea and a custard slice.
For some unknown reason the lady who I assume to be the owner stormed out and handed me a life jacket, a bit stunned I paused for a second they she blared " WELL PUT IT ON THEN!".
I refused and she silently took off her apron and started throwing some rather impressive roundhouse kicks, as she continued this dispay the customers started moving the tables out the way, confirming this be a regular occurrence.
Startled, I left the shop and began to walk home, aware I was being followed I turned to spot the customers from the store dive into every available doorway, one ducked behind a bench "I know you are following me" I shouted, at that point they all left their hiding places and the ringleader threw a bag of frozen peas at me, missing my head by an inch.
