breakfast was wonderful, good produce and well cooked. Staff very friendly and welcoming for both humans and dogs.
And enjoy we certainly did, probably THE BEST moules mariniere that we have ever tasted, and we've eaten many around France and the UK over the years, the moules were large, very fresh & local(Cardigan Bay), the sauce was absolutely exquisite and perfectly balanced giving it a light and flavour.
The obligatory sourdough slice for mopping up was definitely needed, would suggest this is included as an option.
Our compliments to the chef.
It’s a shame my wife and I left there disappointed(and hungry!) because of the portion sizes.
We both ordered the Welsh rarebit which was 1 slice of sourdough bread and few salad leaves, a starter portion at a main course price. We also ordered a side of slaw at £3.25 for the smallest of bowls.
Nice food yes but it needs to be value for money as well.
The pizzas are the best ever, so fresh but we couldn't manage to finish them so a takeaway box was provided, no problem!
We found our meal great value for money and couldn't resist buying a couple of deli items (a jar of lobster terrine & a tin of olives with chilli) to take away.
Stunning value - unbelievable quality for the price.
Pretty varied menu as well - classic options such as sausage or bacon on Welsh Barra Gallega baguette, full breakfast as well as some modern additions.
All topped off by being a stylish, coastal cafè right on the Aberdovey sea front.
