Coffee#1 Carmarthen

Had a lovely breakfast and coffee on Saturday. Quite busy but seats available. Nice decor and ambience. Quite slow getting served and when it was my turn I found the desser my daughter wanted was still frozen. All 3 she chose were. Quite a faff when you're at the till with lots of people waiting. Lots of choices of drinks. Lovely friendly staff. Drinks very good and food very tasty.

An unusually poor experience, given that most Coffee#1s are exceptional. Maybe a one-off, but...
- very testy service from barista;
- weak drink, despite (or because?) asking for extra-strong;
- lukewarm/cool drink temperature;
- small cup, despite ordering "large";
- very, very loud machine (no shielding) for making cold drinks.

Positives:
- wonderful, and comfortable seating, and plenty of it;
- tap water freely available, and kept topped up;
- reasonably quick service, despite there being a queue.

Cosy cafe with friendly staff. Waited 20 mins to get served. Hot chocolate carrot cake and frappe. £10. Coconut frappe was served in a small glass and overpriced at £3.75.

This is one of the friendliest cafes in Caerfyrddin ☺️
I go to this cafe really often and the baristas are all so lovely. No matter how busy they are they are always make time to chat to you and treat you kindly. I always leave having a better day than I was before I arrived.
I told the manager today how she made my day last week by going above and beyond to make my cake really delicious when I was having a bad day. So much so that I was inspired to write a poem about it. She wanted me to post it here;

Warmed with squirty cream on the side?
Asks my usual barista
Felt low today, didn’t hide
Now grin with sound of a milk whisker

Same faces I smiled to
Getting coffee every week
Their kindness never waivered
When my inner world was bleak

She hands my coffee cup
Asks about my career
Wants to meet up
To hear my literary idea

Glad I went outside today
Felt lonely for some time
Until lovely people came my way
Inspiring new pretty rhymes

Great coffee shop and the staff are great! Very helpful and friendly! Great amount of seating and the coffees are consistently good. Nothing worse than getting differently made coffees from your favourite place, but this coffee one has it down. Great coffee everytime. Dog friendly too which is always a bonus.

Lovely friendly staff, awesome coffee and too much choice with the cakes and pastries. Will be back!

Such a nice cosy place to enjoy a coffee. Much better than Costa and Starbucks. The coffee itself is delicious and the staff are very friendly and helpful. So if you are in and around the area and wish to have a relaxing coffee experience then this is the place for you.
