Burnley College

Brilliant collage. Everyone is nice and very welcoming to a nervous teenager. The sport activities like climbing is really fun. The prices for extra things is cheap. Highly recommend!

I went to the open evening at this college a few days ago and the teachers are so kind and welcoming....
Btw you all need to check out their esports/gaming room.

Booked daughter on a 12 week course... part 1. Part 2 is another 12 week. She loves it.... my younger daughter will be following her lead next year. I am referring to the year 11 taster courses in case anyone is wondering!! Plenty to chose from if ur child hits year 11 and is undecided what they want to do when they leave school. Now signed up for the furniture making course, and jumped to level 2 based on exam results.

Took months of chasing up to enrol on a course. Went to open day no one from course department available to speak to. Was missing off enrolment list. Had to chase up again. Finally enrolled and paid for course 4 hours before course starts. Awaiting follow-up information.

Dont waste your time. The staff on public services are unbelievably academically challenged. They are rude, useless, and I have nothing positive to say about this course or its staff. Jane you are a vile excise for a human being. Heather same to you. The rest of the staff, the course is at very best poorly organised and at worst not fit for purpose. I have nothing positive to say about burnley college public services course. Go to another college.

Most amazing college seriously if you study here you will not be disappointed. Friendly and helpful staff all day every day and welcoming to everyone! Some of the friendliest staff I have ever met! Jack kilbride makes the day shine!!!☀️and is always there if you need anything and I feel very welcomed and respected by him thank you so much. College is fantastic, very nice and clean clasrooms and the food in the canteen is far above average, lovely and fresh. Eveything is excellent and it's the best place I have ever come to in my life! It's definitely a place to learn and study if you want to succeed in the future.

If you send your kids here please do not expect your child being taught anything as they struggle to keep teachers or even provide a teacher for lessons. My daughter was being taught by a teacher who claimed not to know anything on that course as it wasn't what she was taught to teach. they sold it to us when we came on the open weekend..big mistake.

not been here that long only a few months but the teachers are sooo lovely ! i like all of my teachers they’re all so funny and kind, there’s always something fun going on and so many facilities, i really enjoy it. not tried much of the canteen food but it seems decent. however some things are so silly, 1 to 1s for a levels are so annoying, cant stand them. and tutorial is a bit of a waste of time, but other than that pretty positive experience :)
