I have found this college to be very lacking in both Teaching and leadership, they don't seem to know what is going on. Teachers that show lack of respect to students, backed by Principals that don't follow up on promises. I would not send another of my children to this place.

I stopped taking a course so they sent my bill to collections and my credit score went down. Been trying to get a hold of them but no answer.

Family member of mine was name called, bullied, threatened, the whole lot whilst she studied here. The colleges response was “we’re aware of these problems, but if anything were to happen off campus it’s a police matter not theirs” , what sort of logic is this? She should be able to learn and prepare for further education instead of considering dropping out. Absolutely ridiculous, clearly give 0 f”cks about their students , it’s a duty of care to look out for the students - not to brush off any horrible behaviour. As a Autistic student, she requested that she swapped English class to a lower level so she could get on better, their response was “yeah but the thing is, there’s a lot of rowdy people in that class so it’s best if she didn’t” … like what? That’s not her problem, it’s your problem as well as your colleges. Absolutely disgusted, wouldn’t recommend sending your child here especially if they struggle with mental health issues and learning issues. The comments that she received from these other students are seriously horrible, about her weight , her appearance.. like this is enough to make somebody suicidal sadly enough. Wonder what their poor excuse would be if she did do something harmful over this. Disgraceful.

Didn't even manage to finish the course I was bullied and the teacher decided to just put me downstairs instead of sorting it out, dropped out because they're all immature including teachers.

I was looking at going back to college last year in September looked around a couple of college online and didn’t like them so I applied for Ashford college and they accepted me in October 2020, I have had a very enjoyable experience here the staff are fantastic with all support even when we had lockdown they were there when you needed them, I was studying hairdressing level 2 which in lockdown is really hard when you need to be hands-on with clients but our fantastic tutor got us through the course. Even with the college was on lockdown they allowed me to go in as I was classed High risk as they helped me with everything that I needed help with and they let me do my work in the e hub and the staff in there were brilliant and helped the best I could even if they didn’t know anything about hairdressing they were try and find it for me. I would highly recommend this college to anyone that is capable of doing something or even struggles in life because they will adjust to your needs. Thank you very much look forward to see you guys in September to do my level 3.
