I have attended the History Club classes for nearly two years and have enjoyed every one. There is such a wide variety of subjects taught by an exceptional tutor. I was not sure what to expect when I first joined the classes but our tutor Ellen made me feel welcome and at ease . Ellen has such interest and enthusiasm for all the subjects which makes for a very enjoyable lesson. Thank you to Ellen and Sutton College.

Took an art class and found two classes each with their own tutor teaching out of the same space at the same time, so had to try and block out the sound of the other tutor's loud voice. Additionally our tutor would tell us what to bring for the next week's lesson but then next week would concentrate on a completely different theme. Honesty I'd rather spend more for classes elsewhere so that I can actually learn.

Went to the open day and it was very well organised, I am looking forward to doing a course here. Would recommend.

EXTREMELY uroganised!!!!
First the course was changed a few weeks before starting from Monday to Tuesday.
Then our course was postponed a few days before starting (I actually turned up on the date and was asked to wait almost an hour only to be told to go home and find out they had written my email address wrong so I never recieved the correspondence about it).
Next then began a week later (the tutor said she was invited a few days before and blacked out in class as had just come back from hospital and a long flight)
Then I recieve an email today stating the tutor has left and the course will be postponed again until further notice???

I don't understand why enrolment was opened if a tutor had not yet been organised. It's been a very disappointing experience so far.

Also..
There was also no canteen or refreshments area (the only coffee machine was out of order)
No student car park (the only affordable car park opened half an hour after the course starts)
Poor support for students

.. the list goes on!!

Excellent zumba gold classes. Tutor is really enthusiastic and cheerful - the class is friendly and the sessions really enjoyable; suited to different fitness levels

After signing my daughter up for a beginners course it was actually attended by long term experienced students. Rather than a class, the atmosphere was more that of a club, please consider this when taking on a new venture.

I’m studying ESOL level 1 with Miss Michelle Goddin. She’s an amazing teacher. actually she is a brilliant person! The staff is very friendly and helpful. We most wear face mask in common areas. the classrooms are airy, light and there are not many students in each class, which is great. There is a bus stop just in front of the school. I’m delighted with my reading classes! I’m also very thankful to be able to learn at Sutton College. I definitely recommend!

This college has a superb ceramics department, teaching the latest in reduction firing techniques, with a wide selection of glaze types and clay types for student use. The teachers are all themselves commercially aware and practicing. Many wheels tho' some are noisy.
