For a student, Trevelyan college is cozy and friendly place to be. Worth visiting for concerts and musicals organised by the students. Although confusing for some, the hexagonal architecture of the college is something to experience.

I am still here, I tried to find my way out but it's like a labyrinth :(

This college is the worst. If you want to have a good student life with college support, do not choose Trevelyan. Even starting with he porters, they’re absolutely unhelpful as well as anyone from unfriendly staff

Traditional college. Rooms are light and bright and set out in hexagonal structure which is great for socialising out on the landing. Walls though are thin and difficult if you are sleeping and have student colleagues coming back late when you’re asleep. Rooms are not ensuite but shared bathrooms/shower/toilets are modern/clean.

Accommodation is full catered but there is a small kitchen/fridge on each landing which is sufficient.

Very nice reception area and outside areas.

Onsite gym has plenty of equipment – machines and weights (see photos).

When did Durham need so many universities? They dont even help out with debt problems nor teach students, it just adds to the problem of how many people bundle up in Durham!!!!

Fix it Cummings!!!!! Your responsible for these universities causing problems, its a joke getting a certificate in Durham for absolute nothing.

Ignore negative reviews, great place to live in your first year with community that keeps you coming back in years to follow. The college's Reputation in Durham is poor but this is thoroughly undeserved, largely a result of the the ugly Hexagonal architecture I suspect. Yet even this has its upsides as the rooms, whilst admittedly never with en-suites, do feel more spacious and airy than accomodation in other colleges due to their unusual shape. One of the smallest colleges in Durham, with all the first years living under one roof, you really feel you get to know most of your year, not to mention staff. Despite this cozy size there remains an abundance of clubs and societies to join. Good facilities on site as well, tennis courts, big hall and we'll equipped gym. Loved my time at Trevs.

Lovely reception from the students and staff when we got here to drop off my partner's daughter for the start of her Master's degree course which left a very reassuring impression on us all.
The facilities look great too.
