Awful college and shocking complaints procedure with no one dealing with your complaint properly or in the correct manner. English and Maths courses never ran alongside course properly. Courses are classed as full time but definitely a very part time one that my offspring was on and they would of benefitted just as much from it as doing a night course just once a week. Badly let down by course with no other course offered yet you are supposed to be in education or approved training until you reach 18 years old. Unhelpful tutor of course . The guidance centre for courses and careers was useless and provided no options they didn't even know what courses would be running in January and its December already. A SHEER WASTE OF TIME!!!

TERRIBLE!! I studied level 3 health and social care (at the Nuneaton) and tutors were not helpful at all! Half of the time they did not know what they were doing and only 3 weeks before our exam we was left without a teacher!! Due to the tutor not knowing how to teach very well we ended up having to teach ourselves as all he did was either go through the same power points continuously or hand out irreverent word searches. We complained to the head of department and then had someone supervise our lesson, which at the end they blamed the teacher not being able to teach on us students! After telling other tutors about our problems and nothing being done (AGAIN) we took matters into our own hands and spoke with the other health and social care students (from a separate class) to see if they were experiencing the same problems as us, once we found out they were we wrote a formal letter of complaint and everyone signed it. The head of department then came into our class to speak to us about what we wrote. We was supposed to be taught 6 units and there was one we wasn't taught at all and was told to "teach ourselves". There was no power points or resources on the college website for us to use and we stated this in our complaint after asking our tutor multiple times to put them on, he never did. The head of department then told us she would tell him and FINALLY a month later (after us emailing her about them!) he did. At the beginning of the year we paid a fee of £35 and an extra £25 for what we was told would get a trip out of, it is now 8 days before the course ends (06/06/2017) and we haven't been on any trips or even informed of any that are happening!!!! We was giving many deadlines all at once which we struggled to reach due to the lack of teaching we received. However after we did hand our completed work in we never received any feedback meaning when we had a re-sub we struggled on what we needed to change/ make better. This college is a waste of time and I recommend going somewhere different.

The staff are very warm and helpful from reception, finance, library, catering and many tutors who support a wide range of individuals with different needs. It’s the best I have ever been to. I have two degrees and now changing careers as a mature student. North Warwickshire and Hinckley College has given me the strength to widen my ambition. I highly recommend the hair, beauty and complementary therapy department as this is now my career 100%.

Hello this was a helpful college I came looking for a teaching assistant course and they did not know I have a nvq in early years childcare and education . I had already completed a apprenticeship in this hard course. I phoned up to say I had already done it and they understood. Yes I am grateful they took my name off that course straight away. Thank you.

Nuneaton campus is atrocious! The college sends warning letters to parents, regarding students bad attendance for online lessons, when it is the tutors fault for not inviting the students to online lessons in the first place!! As it is the responsibility of the tutor to invite the students onto the online lesson each time a lesson is due to take place, may i suggest to certain tutors who don't know what their left arm is doing from their right, to enrole themselves on a course in organisation...as at the moment they don't know how to organise a empty draw!!! Totally useless college. I would look to send your child to a different college if i was you.

Both my lads attended one mainly the Hinckley Campus the other Nuneaton campus.

My eldest had great support and thanks to the Principles support we managed to secure 4 scholarships to Teeside University. One scholarship for my eldest and 3 others which may not have happened with out the Principle supporting my letter to Teeside.
Originally because they weren't 'A' level students and took the BTEC avenue, which for arts is more sensible they might not have received the scholarships which were worth £4k for the term of University.
See fighting for things does work.
Well done Stuart for achieving a 1st with Hounors too! A first University student in my family too!
Well done to Michael too achieving his apprenticeship as an electrician, Chip off the old block! Slow starter but made it in the end.

Have tried getting an extra qualification, they messed me around for over a year. Then put me on a course and i recieved no guidance of any sort.
Its been 15years since i was at college so naturally it would take me awhile to get back into things. Still they were no help.
