Not a bad college. Didnt stay very long. Sept to Feb 2019... However my tutor was brilliant but I felt that it was too packed during breaks which was very overwhelming for me - possibly a bit over packed?

But other than that making me stressed I did enjoy my time at this college. But sadly the course wasn't for me and I wanted to go into a completely different course for a completely different job.

Plenty of buses to easily get to Newcastle which i think it great and encourages students/people who want to go the college to go due to the decent transport.

The Hairdressing section is professionally run giving me a very positive experience. I'm really very happy with the advice, styling and all round atmosphere.

Communication with this college is terrible. Student absence line and main reception do not pick up when you call. I dropped out within a year because it got very difficult for me to complete my coursework to a good standard. And not one staff member seemed concerned about that? Not one call or anything from them asking why I had stopped attending. They would also change your timetable out of nowhere, so this is a nightmare if you also have a job alongside this. I found it very irritating that they would make you come in for 1 two hour lesson one day a week— couldn’t this have been done online?

Staff members in H&S Care department gossip too, if you go in their office you can hear them having a natter and laugh about their students.

Great atmosphere and excitement for new students enrolling today! Well organised by the college, and what a welcome!

Studied a foundation degree here in Mechanical engineering. Compared to my last college it was a huge improvement here. Dave Halliwell is the man! Helpful and nothing is too much of a problem for him.

The college is luxurious, has many different facilities and includes a Starbucks. The members of staff are polite, helpful and very supportive. Would definitely recommend to anyone.
