Ridgeway College

Ridgeway College is a great place to learn. As a mature student I was nervous about what to expect. The tutors, the learning modules and the environment added up to brilliant learning experience. I was able to study at a comfortable pace with other like-minded trainee therapists who - like me - are now working in a professional capacity.

I can highly recommend Ridgeway College from my own experience of studying counselling with them. It is the best thing I have ever done and life changing. I have learnt so much and value the skills they have taught me. The course material is highly effective and taught by professionals that are very knowledgeable, approachable, encouraging and supportive. I found the course very enjoyable and I met some great people throughout my time there. I’m really pleased I did it.

I studied with Ridgeway College and gained level 2 and 3 in counselling skills and theory. I will return to study level 4 in September this year 2019. The level of knowledge of the tutors was exceptional and the support was always professional and friendly. If you want a recognised qualification and expert training I recommend Ridgeway.

Highly recommend Ridgeway College, I completed my diploma in Hypnotherapy and was awarded a distinction. The course materials provided are amazing, really well laid out and didn't have to do much additional reading like courses I have done in the past with other providers. Graham and Julia are really knowledgeable and I felt the course was well structured and relaxed. I felt i could ask any questions no matter how silly it sounded in my head. Can't wait to do another course with them.

I've completed my level 3, 4 and 5 counselling Journey with Ridgeway College. I have thoroughly enjoyed my learning with them as they have a great balance of theory and practical skills work. The Tutors also take from their own experiences of counselling which they bring into the classroom and this really helps with developing an understanding.

What I have learned with them has also been crucial for my own personal development and I'm very thankful for what my Tutors (Julia and Graham) have been able to give me.

I completed a Level 5 Diploma in Supervision at Ridgeway College. I thoroughly enjoyed the course: it was thought provoking, challenging me to look at my beliefs and assumptions as a practitioner. The tutor, Graham, brought his experience to the discussions leading to some engaging exploration of ethical considerations. Coursework was always marked and returned promptly with detailed feedback supporting my learning.

Ridgeway College (Counselling Courses) really helped me to become aware. The counselling training is extensive and guided me into my stretch zone. I am now a qualified Counsellor. The tutors have all helped in great depth my own personal development. I rate this college as the best in Lincoln. Thankyou so much. Look forward to seeing you next year.

I really enjoyed my time at Ridgeway College. The tutors were experienced and supportive. This part time course allowed me to retain my job while studying and paying on a monthly basis, "pay as you go" made it affordable. I would highly recommend it.
