Orielton Field Centre

Loved it! I was there for about 5 days, and it must have been one of the most amazing trips I've had with my school. We went there to do Sand Dunes and Rivers fieldwork, but unfortunately, the weather was horrendous during the later - so instead we used results from another group.

The food was pretty good, considerably better than most other places we've visited. Within the main building, there were 4 floors, with two being filled with 4-8 bed rooms. The basement has a recreational room, tuck shop, and some other misc things. There is also a separate building with classrooms and equipment storage.

Just about the only complaint I have is that the WiFi that they advertise doesn't work well in the classrooms, and the one in the main building is only for the staff... plus, you can't charge your stuff within the rooms, neither can you use anything aerosol based thanks to the very sensitive fire alarms.

In the middle of nowhere with nothing interesting to do, the center itself is run down and is in need of refurbishment and i would recommend not going here.

Food was exceptionally bad, my tutor was unresponsive and disengaged with students, quite often completely ignoring students who repeated things over and over to be heard. Wifi was adequate, but rooms were run-down and showers were dirty.

Pete is a legend, Lee the chef is great and pressured me into having 2 chocolate puddings. Great food

Great place.Pete is amazing, so is Lee and play hide and seek.

Excellent place to stay and great price. Lovely outdoor location and walks nearby. We lived our stay. Room was really nice and there is a lot of wildlife to enjoy.

Terrific place lots of very good local walks and tons of wildlife.
