Both of our sons have flourished at their time at Dover College. We have experienced years 1/2 with our younger son and years 7/8 with our elder. We have been extremely impressed with the school's dedication to both academic achievement and personal development and growth. There is an emphasis on supporting children to become the best version of themselves, which is broad and solid, and prepares them for their successful, happy and fulfilling adult lives. Thank you Dover College for the many gifts of personal accomplishment, success and growth, from which the boys will always benefit.

We are delighted we chose Dover College for our children. The staff at the prep school have been welcoming and supportive from day one, spending time getting to know our children and their individual needs. The children have so much fun at school and come home full of stories of their day which is so lovely to hear. The excellent facilities enable lots of opportunities for outside play and learning and they especially enjoy all the sports and forest school! We’ve also been impressed with how the school recognise achievements of all the children - our daughter has certainly grown in confidence since she joined.
We highly recommend Dover College!

We were attracted to Dover College for the small class sizes and family atmosphere. The reality is that those small classes mean that our child is supported by academic as well as pastoral staff. We have regular contact with teachers, his tutor and his Housemaster and communication has always been excellent. He has had the opportunity to represent the College playing Football, Rugby, Tennis and Eton Fives against local as well as international schools. He has been encouraged by the Music and Drama Departments to sing in the choir and play the drums and has performed in concerts and plays. Learning and spending time with international students offers the day pupils the joy of making friends from all over the world. These opportunities have made him and his friends into the confident, kind and interesting young people that they are.

I have two children at Dover College, one in the Junior School and one in the Senior School taking GCSE's. I can honestly say moving our children to Dover College from their previous school was the best decision we ever made. The School has been well organised and extremely proficient at delivering comprehensive lessons everyday to both my children throughout this last year of lockdown.

The School has a wonderful sense of community spirit and a real family feel about it. The teaching staff are amazing and go above and beyond providing a nurturing, caring and supportive environment for my children. A very lovely school.

The Dover College family has given our son the confidence and skills to thrive. In the six years he has been at the school, he has grown into a well-rounded young man who is not afraid to get involved - in the classroom and beyond.
His academic achievements are supported by staff that recognise and celebrate individuality, that nurture and encourage success, even in subjects that he finds challenging.

Outside of the classroom, our son is involved in the many extra curricular activities presented – notably sports and drama, as well as House activities that foster the development of leadership skills.
Dover College continues to present opportunities for growth, independence – and, most importantly, a huge amount of enjoyment!

Our daughter had the chance to be part of the Dover School community for the school year 2019/2020 at Senior school. Dover School has excellent , very motivated and motivating, kind and engaged teachers. We made the experience that teachers, houseparents, all the staff take care very well of the pupils and teaching is on a high academical standard. She really liked each subject she had. In Maths she made progress to the higher level, in history she learned another approache to work with essays, in digital media she discovered a quite new "world' of the background in media. She progressed a lot especially by getting positive statements from the teachers even when her work was not perfect.
The first days she was rapidly integrated into the community and her housemistress was fantastic.
In the community she learned that each child/pupil can be different but to be able to be a community you learn to help and respect each other. At Dover College there is no need for a child to stand out with the parents' financial background.
We thank all teachers and staff for the excellent work and yes I would say dedication. Carry in so well.

Our son has been at Dover College since he was four and is now in the upper sixth and the current Head Boy. There are so many positives about Dover College the list would be endless, but importantly as parents we have always been listened to and we are delighted at how our son has flourished academically whilst becoming a well rounded confident young man thanks to the nurturing and care of all the staff at Dover College.

Would like to thank all the staff at Dover College. We have two teenagers that attend and during this lockdown the staff have been very supportive. I hear my children interacting, laughing and socializing with their peers while learning from the online platform delivered by Dover College.
