Atomic Comics

Great selection of current comics with well segregated and organised sections for graphic novels, art and back issues. Also sold some interesting t-shirts that I've not seen elsewhere. I had no idea this shop was even there. Owner wasn't up for a chat or a smile but we all have a bad day sometimes.

Nigel, the chap in charge of the shop, is an excellent bloke who will do his absolute best to get hold of whatever particular comic you're after. The service here is second to none. The only reason I've not given him 5 stars is the stock on the shelves is a bit limited; however, as I said, he will happily order in anything you want and hang on to it until you pick it up.
Very definitely the best comic shop for miles around!

Have been in the store on and off for a couple years now and today I went in and had a proper look through everything and just soaked it all in. There are an amazing array of comics and a few really cool hidden gems in amongst it all that I was able to nab. The owner was helpful and very kind and was able to give me a really good deal on a bunch of comics. Will definitely be going back once I gain a good amount of money

Good friendly comic store. Well worth visiting for latest comics and a great selection on Free Comic Book Day as well. Have found many back issues here as well as other cool items.

Been around here a couple times and can say they are a good place to browse comics. Also bought a remastered copy of Marvels here 👌👌👌

DONT WASTE YOUR TIME BRINGING COMICS TO THIS SHOP.

I went in with bag of Graphic Novels and some comics I was met by some old miserable man who didn't want to even look at them for me.
He said take them up to Comic Shops up London.
Thats what you call bad 1 star Customer service.

It's good to still see small comic bookshops on local high streets. However, the future will not be bright if there is no attempt to move with the times. What I liked about Atomic Comics is that it had a back issues section but none of the comics were in backing boards so flicking through comics was difficult and they are getting damaged every time someone goes through them. The wall comics were also outdated but there was a nice selection of popular graphic novels. This shop also only excepts cash payments.

I went to this shop and got comic books that I never thought I would get. I'm glad there's still a comic shop about as they are slowly going one by one this shop is a good shop and the man is very helpful if you want somethink he will see if he can get it comic figures and back comics thankyou for everything you do please try to keep this shop going if it goes it will be a big lost.😀😄
